Nationhood
Each nation must be free to determine its policies to the benefit of its citizens.

Freedom
Freedom for responsible individuals, guaranteed by the rule of law, administered by an independent judiciary and the minimum of state interference in our lives.

Democracy
The exercise of political power, with the consent of the people, through regular elections on the basis of universal Adult suffrage and secret ballot.

Security
The first duty of the State is to provide external and internal defence for it’s citizens.

Community
Defined by Geography, tradition, inheritance and a sense of common identity.

Capitalism
The most effective system of wealth creation. Free markets are blind to gender, race, class or religion.

Choice
For individuals must be maximized – even if the State excepts responsibility for the provision of a final safety net.

Enterprise
Fostered by a low tax, low inflation economy - with currency exchange rates determined by the free market.

Deregulation
Domestic and Global- to maximize freedom of choice and individual responsibility in an ever improving society.

A SNAP SHOT OF MY VIEWS

I wanted to give you a “snap shot” of my political views. What I am and what I support. I believe these give me the right background to help the Team win back at least one Euro seat in the East of England.

What I AM,
• A life long Conservative.

• Born & bred in the East of England

• Currently living, and will continue to live in the heart of Eastern England on the Essex/Suffolk borders.

• A family man with four grown up sons.

• Energetic and experienced both politically and vitally, in many areas outside politics

• 100% committed to The Conservative Party winning extra seats in Eastern England.

• Willing and able to talk to and motivate people from all parts of the six Counties of Eastern England.

• Able to bring business sponsorship to support additional campaigning in our target Westminster seats as well as for Europe.

• Able to generate positive coverage in local media.

• Able to work virtually full time between now and the Euro election to win back seats lost to UKIP.
